This week we kick off our 2012 Celebration of Hope series with special guest speaker Bryan Jones from Student Impact!
Week 2
Seed Packing
SEED PACK WEEKEND! Help us fill seed packs containing onion, squash, spinach, tomato, and cabbage seeds for family gardens in Zimbabwe. By providing families with vegetable seeds, they can grow their own crops in the rich Zimbabwean soil—and move toward a reliable, sustainable food supply. The harvest from one family garden can support six to eight people for a year, and the sale of surplus crops provides income to meet basic needs like education and health care. Many families who received Celebration of Hope vegetable seeds in 2010 and 2011 have already tripled their annual income—or more—enabling them to feed their children, provide medical care when needed, and send their children to school. Help us pack seeds and make a difference in the lives of people on the other side of the world! Invite your friends!

We had a great time at Pineapple Mayhem this year! Almost 3,000 kids showed up. We’ll have a highlight video up later this week, but for now, check out the awesome video we showed at Mayhem.

Small risk, Big Impact!
Evangelism is RISKY! It’s not always easy and it’s not always comfortable, but a small risk can make a big difference. While we run the risk of being made fun of or having an awkward conversation, the apostles encountered HUGE risks. Come this weekend to learn how we should respond to this tough challenge!
Week Three
Pizza and Jesus
There are many ways we can point people to Jesus, but however we do it, it must be done in love. Scripture is clear that acting in love is a mark of true followers of Jesus. This weekend, we’ll hear about how this applies to us, as Jr. High Students.

This weekend, we’ll be focusing on the SUPER side of Jesus while he was here on earth, and how he wasn’t only fully human, but FULLY GOD as well.

Dodgeball!
This weekend is our Superbowl of Dodgeball! And it’s going to be a blast. Bring your friends, make a team name up, and even make a team uniform if you want! Or just show up and play some dodgeball! It’s going to be a lot of fun even if you don’t like dodgeball though, since we’ll have a DJ, a game show, Scavenger hunt, free gatorade, and more!

If you have a sibling, you’ve gotten in argument. That’s just a fact. No matter how much we may love our brothers and sisters, we don’t always get along. The same is true of our relationships with parents, cousins, friends, ANYONE! Join us this week to hear more about how God want’s us to view our relationships with our siblings.
